AGTA Spectrum Awards 2025

AGTA Spectrum Awards 2025 | Regina

During the 2025 Spectrum Awards competition, the American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) honored Adam Neeley with a Spectrum Award, Bridal Wear – 3rd Place and Bridal Wear – Platinum Honors for his design “Regina”.

This striking necklace showcases a magnificent blue/green aquamarine totaling 68.14 carats, cut by master lapidary Mark Gronlund. During the 2022 Cutting Edge Awards competition, the American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) honored Mark Gronlund with an Honorable Mention for Innovative Faceting.

The Regina Necklace draws its inspiration from the mesmerizing dance of the sea. At its heart, the aquamarine’s swirling concave facets echo the gentle Coriolis spirals of ocean tide pools, capturing the eternal rhythm of water in motion. Pearls and diamonds shimmer like sea mist rising from waves as they meet the rugged coastline, their radiance suspended within a fluid composition of platinum. Gradating size pearls flow seamlessly into a custom-designed platinum and diamond necklace. At its center rests the luminous Regina, the queen of the sea, where art, movement, and nature converge in a single, graceful tide.
