Cosmos Star Hen Pendant 2019 Saul Bell Design Award

Saul Bell Design Award 2019

During the 2019 Saul Bell Design Award competition, judges honored Adam Neeley with Second Place in the Gold & Platinum category for his pendant Cosmos Star Hen. Jewelry supplier and industry authority Rio Grande holds the Saul Bell Design Award competition annually to honor the very best of jewelry design.
Star Hen Galaxy Pendant displays a striking Madeira Citrine cut by award-winning lapidary Mark Gronlund. The unique concave facets of this gemstone create a spiraling effect and project a beautiful golden glow throughout the design. Adam crafted this piece meticulously in 18kt yellow gold, 14kt yellow gold, and 14kt white gold all with a satin finish.
Speaking about the award, Adam describes his feeling as, “Thrilled. It is my first time winning the Saul Bell Design Award; in 2017 I was a finalist. I hope they love the precision. It is such a big honor.”
